Geosophik maintains and curates open geographic and environmental datasets for the Peloponnese and surrounding regions. Our data infrastructure is built on open standards and designed for interoperability.

- Land use & land cover — Regional classifications derived from satellite imagery and field surveys
- Topography & terrain — Digital elevation models and slope analyses
- Hydrological networks — Rivers, watersheds, and water body boundaries
- Ecological zones — Habitat maps and biodiversity indicators
- Agricultural parcels — Field boundaries and crop type data where available
- Cultural heritage sites — Georeferenced inventory of archaeological and historical sites
Geoportal
Our primary data platform is accessible through the Geoportal — an open-source spatial data infrastructure that allows you to discover, visualize, and download datasets.
Data Standards
All datasets are published under open licenses (CC BY or ODbL where applicable) and follow OGC standards (WMS, WFS, WCS) for interoperability with GIS software.
